Diethylene Glycol Butyl Ether Acetate CAS#124-17-4
2-(2-Butoxyethoxy)ethyl acetate, commercially named Butyldiglycol acetate, is a high-value glycol ether acetate solvent.
It acts as a key functional ingredient for PVAc composite film production. It efficiently reduces the minimum film-forming temperature (MFT) and greatly enhances film-forming quality.
Additionally, it is widely incorporated into silver thick-film paste formulations. As an efficient processing additive, it meets stringent production requirements for advanced material manufacturing.

Product Application of Diethylene Glycol Butyl Ether Acetate CAS#124-17-4
As an ester compound, this product may undergo reactions with acids accompanied by heat generation, forming corresponding alcohols and acidic substances. Contact with strong oxidizing acids could lead to intense exothermic reactions, which may cause ignition. Exothermic phenomena may also occur when mixed with caustic solutions.
Moreover, reactions between the product and alkali metals or hydrides can generate flammable hydrogen gas. Proper handling measures are required during all operations.
