Product Details
L-Arginine L-glutamate is presented as a white powdery substance. It is either odorless or has a very faint odor, accompanied by a distinctive taste that is characteristic of the compound.
When subjected to heating, this compound decomposes within a temperature range of 193–194.6 °C. For a 25% aqueous solution of L-Arginine L-glutamate, every 100 milliliters contains 13.5 grams of arginine and 11.5 grams of glutamic acid.
Under normal storage and usage conditions, this product usually exists in a form that contains three molecules of crystal water, which contributes to its stable properties.

Product Application of L-Arginine L-Glutamate (CAS# 4320-30-3)
L-Arginine L-glutamate is primarily utilized as a flavor enhancer, with its main application being to boost the taste of green tea. The typical dosage for this purpose ranges from 1% to 2%, ensuring optimal flavor enhancement without overwhelming the inherent taste of the tea.
While neither L-glutamic acid nor L-arginine falls into the category of essential amino acids, they are regarded as conditionally essential for infants and young children. This is because the ability of infants and young children to synthesize L-arginine independently is limited, making external supplementation necessary.
Additionally, L-arginine offers a beneficial effect on retinal tissue, which renders L-Arginine L-glutamate suitable for application in the medical field.
