Antioxidant 1330 CAS#1709-70-2

• Excellent Thermal Stability

Antioxidant 330 (hindered phenol type) sustains stable processing performance at high temperatures and delivers consistent reliability for high-heat working scenarios.

• Outstanding Resistance to Thermal Degradation

It can effectively inhibit thermal ageing of materials, well suited for long-term operation in thermally demanding manufacturing processes.

• Safe, Non-discoloring & Environmentally Compatible

Low-toxic formulation prevents discoloration of finished products without producing pollutants, supporting cleaner and safer production.

• Good Compatibility with Multiple Organic Solvents

Water-insoluble, yet readily soluble in benzene, dichloromethane, methylcyclohexane and other solvents, adapting to a wide range of formula designs.

Antioxidant 1330 is a high-performance hindered phenolic antioxidant. It takes the form of fine white crystalline powder and boasts a melting point higher than 244°C. The high melting point greatly lowers its volatility under heat, allowing it to stay effective during continuous high-temperature manufacturing processes.

The product is completely insoluble in water. Tested at 18°C, its solubility in common solvents is shown below: 20 g/100 g in benzene, 31.9 g/100 g in methylene chloride, 1.7 g/100 g in methylcyclohexane, 0.2 g/100 g in methanol and 0.1 g/100 g in isopropyl alcohol. Its distinct solubility profile supports uniform dissolution and dispersion within various polymer formulations and helps prevent undesired precipitation.

It delivers outstanding processing stability and reliable heat resistance when exposed to elevated temperatures. Capable of suppressing thermal oxidative degradation, it protects polymer materials from molecular chain fracture and performance deterioration induced by heat. Furthermore, Antioxidant 1330 features low toxicity, non-discoloration property and will not bring contamination to finished goods. Thanks to these comprehensive strengths, it can be widely deployed across numerous industrial polymer application fields.
